But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Psalm 1:2
This book is a place to keep what I find when I sit with Scripture.
I am not trying to write something finished. I am trying to return, day after day, to the Word — to read it, to turn it over, and to tell the truth about what it does in me. Some entries will be short. Some will linger on a single clause. All of them will be dated, because a meditation belongs to a day even when the Word does not.
Psalm 1 does not treat meditation as a mood. It treats it as a practice: delight, then return, then return again. Day and night. That is the shape I want this book to have.
If you are reading along, you are welcome. The next leaf will be today’s sitting with the text. After that, Lord willing, another, and another.
